About Saegul

Hello hello!

We are Lorcan and Nia. We both live in Co. Dublin and spend most of the weekends hiking around or further afield. We’ve both always wanted to be creating something special and one day on one of our hikes (most likely in Kerry on St.Stephen’s day) we decided that candles it is.

Weeks after that, in Cavan, upon seeing the three-headed Corleck head (for some weird reason), we knew what the concept will be - we want every candle we create to be inspired by a place we explore, a curious tradition we read about or anything inspiring we find on our travels around Ireland.

So we bring to you our candles-with-a-story! Each candle has a beautiful fragrance that, we hope, will teleport you to The Place we have in mind. We design and create illustrations for all our candles and add a few words to help you get into the mood. We’re starting with a few products and already have so many more in mind. We post fun stories of our findings and candle-making processes on social media, check those out for more and stay with us!
